I have been fishing Missouri trout streams like crazy over the past ten days. Now that the rivers are up and most are not fishable I will catch up on my reports. Reports to come; Mill Creek, Current River, Blue Springs Creek.

Last year this girl braved a freezing overnight trip to Montauk State Park and got skunked as the river was up a little a did not fish easily for a beginner. This year she wanted to try again and a trip to Saint James yielded her these two rainbows. Stocked trout…..have to start somewhere. I can’t lie, I had fun hauling in a dozen or so that day next to her in the stream. Congrats to Ryan. As always no WILD trout were harmed in the making of this post.

The site is brand new so if anyone happens to stumble upon it, or I trick you into visiting please feel free to email me and let me know what you would like to see.
